  The following demonstrations are available:

   
 
Component Description
Oracle HTTP Server Displays environment settings using FastCGI.
Oracle Application Server Containers for J2EE (OC4J) Links to an OTN page with samples, examples, and demonstrations for Oracle Application Server 10g Release 2 (10.1.2).
Oracle Application Server Web Cache Demonstrates caching, expiration and edge-side page assembly.
Oracle Application Server Portal Links to a Portal page which includes a sample document repository and links to Portal Center and Oracle Application Server Portal Developer Kit.
Oracle Application Server Forms Services Demonstrates a test for to verify your install. You will be prompted to install JInitiator on the client as part of this demo.
Oracle Application Server Forms Services Links to the Forms page on OTN for additional demos and sample code.
Oracle Application Server Reports Services Demonstrates dynamic report output to both paper and the Web.
   
    Terminology

 

  • ORACLE_HOME refers to the top-level installation directory for Oracle Application Server.
  • host refers to the machine where Oracle HTTP Server is running.
  • port refers to the port number on which Oracle HTTP Server is listening for incoming requests.
